The summer is over (not that it feels like it is), and it was fun, fun, fun this year.
First we took a road trip to Toronto, Canada, visiting Smoky Mountains, Mammoth Cave, Kentucky, and Nashville, Tennessee on the way there and back. The trip was fabulous, and we had tons of fun. We were very pleasantly surprised with the "Interior", especially Kentucky and Tennessee.
Later in the summer, we took a short trip down the Florida's Gulf Coast to see the Everglades and Naples. This turned out to be a great excursion as well.
